Bloodlines Book Launch Party
May 7, 2024 12:00 PM Pacific Time
My memoir is here… and so is Mental Health Month!
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health issues and promoting the importance of mental well-being. While it’s always a good idea to keep an open dialogue, during this month especially, we are encouraged to share our stories, extend support, and educate ourselves and others about mental health.
Let’s celebrate & chat about mental health
After lots of “heart” work, Bloodlines will finally be available on May 7th! Come celebrate with me at a special book launch party. Coinciding with Mental Health Awareness Month, this event is also an opportunity to engage in vital conversations about mental health, understanding, and healing.
As we reflect on the significance of Mental Health Month, “Bloodlines” offers hope and guidance for those navigating their paths through mental health challenges, emphasizing Healing is not just possible but strengthened through shared experiences and heartfelt support.
Book Launch Party Details
On Tuesday, May 7 at 12pm (Pacific) you’re invited to join us (Laurel Gallucci and me, Tracey!) for a gathering to commemorate the publication of my book and national Mental Health Month.
This event is an opportunity to gain personal insight and support, as well as contribute to a larger dialogue about mental health, promoting wider societal understanding and acceptance.
Meet Laurel Gallucci
A lifelong baker, Laurel Gallucci was diagnosed with an aggressive autoimmune disease as a young adult and was told she would never eat chocolate cake again.
But the dessert lover refused to accept that, which led her to discover the beauty of baking with whole food ingredients.
Every Sweet Laurel treat is grain-free, gluten-free, refined sugar-free, and dairy-free –and amazingly decadent and delectable.
The Sweetest Co-Host
Laurel’s passion for health and wellness, cultivating joy and cozying up with a good book are just a few of the wonderful reasons I’m so excited to host this Book Launch Party with her.

About the Book
Bloodlines: A Memoir of Harm and Healing
arrives just in time for Mental Health Awareness Month. Carrying a message made urgent by the epidemic of mental health challenges now besetting millions of American teens each year, Bloodlines is a story about how waking up to the power of love can allow us to reimagine the past and fortify the present.
“Yokas connects the dots between various points of generational trauma to examine the ways in which we get caught up in narratives that began before we were born— and the ways in which such narratives can be rewritten. A relatable family story of mental illness and maternal love.”
Bring your passion to the Bloodlines Book Launch Party
Imagine if sharing your story could be the key to healing. Not just for you, but for others who feel lost in the silence. This is something I found was true for me as I wrote and spoke about the experiences I describe in Bloodlines: A Memoir of Harm and Healing. Real life was the direct path to, the reason for, these discussions.
Whether you’re touched by the themes of Bloodlines or passionate about mental health, this Book Launch Party is the perfect place to connect with others who share a commitment to better mental health outcomes for all!
